Eminent Monastics and Virtuous Ones With Great Realizations Gathered Together to Respectfully Honor the Thoughts and Buddha-dhamra of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Being the Highest Guide for Living Beings in Cultivation and Their Quest to Become Liberated

The 2011 World Buddhism Conference conducted by International Buddhism Sangha Association, which was the 3rd conference in Hong Kong, was attended by more than 8000 people representing more than 6,000 Buddhist organizations and groups.

People in charge of more than 6,000 Buddhist temples and dharma centers gathered at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong. They came from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Austria, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, and other countries and regions to participate in the “International Buddhism Sangha Association’s 2011 Conference to Commend Those Who Have Accumulated Merit by Propagating Dharma and Benefiting Living Beings & Third Ceremony in Hong Kong to Confer the Title of Acarya & Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions.” That grand assembly brought a cool, refreshing, wonderful and auspicious breeze to the intense midsummer heat of Hong Kong.

The headquarters of International Buddhism Sangha Association is located in San Francisco, U.S.A. This is the third time they conducted a large assembly in Hong Kong, with the number of attendees doubling each year. This year a record-breaking number of more than 8,000 attendees representing over six thousand Buddhist organizations were present at the conference.

The conference began with the announcement that the first Buddha in more than two thousand years to be recognized as such in accordance with the dharma is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. This recognition is based upon H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III being recognized, corroborated, and congratulated as the true incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha by leaders, dharma kings, regent dharma kings, and others of various Buddhist sects from around the globe. From the 60 recognition and corroboration certificates that were selected, one can see that the dharma kings, regent dharma kings, and rinpoches who recognized, corroborated, and congratulated H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are leaders of various Buddhist sects spread all over the world. Examples of those who issued such certificates include H.H. Dharma King Dodrupchen, the world’s highest holy virtuous one and the sole holder of the Longchen Nying-thik Rainbow Body Accomplishment Dharma; H.H. Dharma King Penor, the third supreme world-leader of the modern Nyingma sect; H.H. Dharma King Achuk, the pre-eminent holy virtuous one in present-day Tibet; H.E. Dharma King Gongbao Dumu Quji, the yidam-dharma Master of the 17th Karmapa; H.H. Dharma King Jigme Dorje, the supreme leader of the Jonang sect; the three Masters of the Dalai Lama, H.H. Dharma King Trulshik, H.H. Dharma King Taklung Tsetrul, and H.E. Dharma King Chogye Trichen; the Mindrolling Monasteries of the Nyingma sect; the Kumbum Monastery; H.H. Dharma King Jigdal Dagchen Sakya; H.H. Dharma King Sakya Trizin; H.E. Sharmapa, a regent dharma king; H.E. Goshir Gyaltsab, a regent dharma king and National Master; and others. All of those individuals are present-day Buddhist leaders of the highest order in the world.
Actually, if only one person of great virtue recognizes the identity or status of another, that identity or status has been recognized in accordance with the dharma. It is obvious that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has received an unprecedentedly large number of recognitions and commands broad respect. Thus, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III did not confer upon Himself the status of Buddha. Rather, He was recognized in strict accordance with the Buddhist system of recognizing one’s identity or status. Of course, more importantly, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III manifests the great compassion, holy wisdom, enlightenment, and accomplishment of a Buddha, which enables people to understand His status as a Buddha. Comparing to the Dalai Lama having received just one recognition from the 5th Rezhen Rinpoche, the 17th Karmapa having received three recognitions, and the 11th Panchen Lama having received one recognition, the recognition status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III possesses much more legitimacy. Therefore, if the status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was falsely established as certain individuals who slander Him contend, then how is it that true rinpoches exist in this world? All of the dharma kings and rinpoches would likewise be charlatans! Thus, many dharma kings and rinpoches even had their photographs taken while they held their certificates recognizing H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in order to be responsible toward the recognition process, Buddhism, and living beings. Such true evidence thoroughly refutes the slanderous rumors spread by certain people with ulterior motives.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has received more than one hundred written recognitions of status, corroborations of status, and congratulations regarding His status. This is the most recognitions ever received by anyone in the history of Buddhism. The status recognized is also the highest status ever recognized in the history of Buddhism. No other person has received such recognitions! Moreover, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is also the first person with the status of the highest leader of Buddhism in the world to have received the World Peace Prize – Top Honor Prize. On June 14th of this year at the U.S. Capitol, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council presented to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III the 2010 World Peace Prize – Top Honor Prize. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was the first to receive such an award that day. Afterward, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council issued a statement pointing out that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has over a long period of time experienced persecution and endured slander. However, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is not concerned about His own honor or disgrace. The statement went on to say that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never showed ironclad documentary evidence He has in order to refute rumors about Him. Instead, He has silently carried out His vow to bear all of the karmic offenses committed by living beings and give to living beings all of the good karma and merit that He has planted. The statement affirmed that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III exemplifies the nobility of selflessness, is a model of morality for all to emulate, and demonstrates the spirit needed to advance peace.

Two people who have certificates of Holy Virtuous One with the Qualifications of a Master at the Beginning Level of Holy Realization attended the grand conference. H.E. Kaichu Rinpoche and H.E. Dharma King Gar Tongstan earned such qualifications after being tested in front of seven masters and ten witnesses. Although both of those holy virtuous ones are almost eighty years old, they are full of energy and vitality. Their realization and cultivation are also very deep. Using their own personal experiences, they described how after they began learning Buddhism under H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III they underwent huge positive changes both physically and mentally, their morality was elevated, and their state of realization was raised. Most importantly, from the state of ordinary people they became people of holy virtue! Hence, they sincerely told everyone that in today’s world the only correct path is learning the thoughts and Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and following the principles contained in The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation.

They said the following: H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is a true Buddha and the true refuge of living beings in their quest for liberation. The thoughts and Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are the most accurate and complete, the most expedient for attaining accomplishment, and best fit the needs of practitioners. All venerable ones, dharma kings, rinpoches, dharma masters, acaryas, and masters of dharma-listening sessions must use the thoughts, conduct, and Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as their highest standard and basic guide. This is true no matter what level of realization they may have, no matter what status they may have, and no matter how many followers they may have. The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation taught by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and the recorded dharma discourses spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III lay out the standards of practice for all Buddhist disciples. Buddhist disciples absolutely may not learn from the explanations, commentaries, or discourses of any other person besides H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III because the understanding of any other person is not correct.

We are now in the Dharma Ending Age. The Buddha-dharma that Sakyamuni Buddha taught in this world is almost completely lost. If that were not the case, why is it that in present-day India and Tibet no one has transformed into rainbow light and no one has third-stage tummo (inner-heat) powers? In the past few dozen years, which dharma master in the land of the Han Chinese has passed away in a state of liberation while sitting in the cross-legged lotus posture? Only the Buddha-dharma, crown opening dharma, tummo (inner heat) dharma, dharma to increase blessings and longevity, selfless unconditioned dharma, and the dharma of liberation from the cycle of birth and death possessed by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are real. As a result of practicing Buddha-dharma transmitted by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, numerous disciples of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III attained holy realization, accomplishment, and liberation from the cycle of reincarnation, attained the power to foreknow the hour of their passing, left behind sarira relics after their passing, and so on. The documentary videos on the Buddha-dharma that all of the attendees saw at this grand assembly included just a small portion of such real examples.

The representatives who attended the assembly from all over the world reported to the assembly either in writing or orally the tremendous benefits that they themselves and their respective families, companies, and societies derived from listening to the recorded dharma discourses of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, learning the thoughts and Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and being guided by the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in their daily work and lives, Their physical health greatly improved. Their family life became harmonious. Things began to go smoothly at work. Their income increased. They and their neighbors started helping one another. Their business expanded. Consequently, their worries and conflicts have decreased, and people are more caring, friendly, and loving toward one another. At the assembly, people all clearly understood that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the most perfect and magnificent Buddha. The thoughts and Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III were also unanimously regarded as being the highest guide for all living beings in their cultivation and their quest to become liberated.

During the assembly, 133 rinpoches, acaryas, and masters of dharma-listening sessions were commended for their outstanding contributions to propagating the dharma and benefiting living beings. They have rendered great service to the expansion of Buddha-dharma and are models for all Buddhist disciples to emulate. Because they have developed more dharma-listening centers than others and have worked hard to protect the dharma, they will soon receive a great initiation and learn great dharma. Because they have done so many good deeds for society and humanity, because they have helped so many people become kindhearted individuals who only do good things, never do bad things, and surely never stir up trouble, and because they have inspired so many people to be united, loving toward one another, and diligent in creating a happy and prosperous world, blessings should befall them!
