为表彰三世多杰羌佛云高益西诺布各方面的成就及对世界的贡献，美国加州政府和旧金山市政府在同一天宣布2000年3月8日为“义云高大师日”。

   【本报记者报导】为表彰、赞扬义云高大师在佛学、哲学、艺术、伦理道德等全方面卓越的杰出成就，并对义云高大师为世界人类所做之伟大贡献致上最崇高的敬意，加州州长戴维斯(Grey Davis)及旧金山市市长布朗(Willie L.Brown,Jr.)特代表州府及市府将每年的三月八日定为义云高大师日。这项殊荣是东方人在美国社会史无前例的最高荣誉表征。
     在推崇义云高大师的文告上，戴维斯州长和布朗市长赞誉义云高大师是超于世界所有各方面之专家，无论在佛教、艺术、科学、医学、哲学等方面，义云高大师之造诣均已精至顶点，到达完美之境界。如大师之绘画及书法，不仅受到全中国艺术家之最高评鉴，而且于世界其他国家亦受到相当高之赞扬，皆认为大师之艺术造诣已达登峰造极之境界：又如大师研发之中国绿茶碧玉春及霸王春也被评为茶中极品;而大师之医学知识及医术亦到达“无病不能治”之高明;在哲学、伦理道德及佛学佛法方面亦是境界高超，更带给人类极大之贡献及利益。所以由四十八国成立之世界诗人文化大会于一九九四年特颁发世界唯一“特级国际大师”之荣誉证给义云高大师，此证更不是一般人可得到的。

        义云高大师是世界独一无二达到全方位最高成就之大师，这次义大师能唯一荣获美国政府为其订定双重庆祝日，乃大师实至名归之荣誉，三月八日也是我们中国人最光荣的日子。
        
        【本报记者特稿】西元二000年三月八日义云高大师不知在什么地方，他人虽然不在美国加州，但义大师所表现高瞻远瞩的独到见解，为人类奠定教育启发的意义所展现积极正面及永久性的影响，却在加州放出了闪烁的光辉，于此同时旧金山市也在这一天立为庆祝大师的纪念日。能在同一天获得两份大师庆祝日，这在东方人中确实是最大的殊荣，此殊荣不是轻易就能得到，需要有其正实力的特大人物才能获得。

云高大师是当今世界最有真才实学的一代巨德，是近代最富盛名的大学者。世界诗人文化大会四十八国及地区五六一二位专家学者，依据他在佛教、佛学、佛法、人文科学、书画艺术的非凡成就及伦理道德的崇高境界，评选他为全世界唯一的“特级国际大师”，正式下达评选决议并致函中华人民共和国，于一九九四年九月十五日在匈牙利公布。大师证件由国际奥委会主席萨玛兰奇等签字。义云高大师学识渊博，德品崇高，为中国和美国的文化交流作出卓越贡献，鉴于此，政府代表人民的意愿，修建了义云高大师馆。这是中国唯一由一级政府修建、为世界文化学术机构首肯的、正式列入国家行政编制的世界上第一座大师馆。

        义云高大师为中国近代史，乃至中国历史上最优秀的佛法大家、绘画书法艺术家，无论是工笔、写意的山水、花卉、人物、鸟兽，大师的造诣都达到了登峰造极的境界，胜过历史上无数的绘画名家；从大师研发出中国第一的特级名茶---碧玉春和霸王春，以及多项荣获专利及头等奖章之医疗药品等等，可略窥大师在科学方面之卓越成就；大师在佛学、哲学及伦理道德上的殊胜成就，为全世界人民所共同景仰、效仿的楷模，无论是大师的哲言选或其他著作，都被国际间列为重要的教材，在其他方面的荣誉事迹不一而足，总之，大师在各方面都达到最顶尖的地位，正因为他如此杰出的成就，所以才获得美国加州政府和旧金山市府在同一天建立双重大师庆祝日。
        这是继一九九五年荣获世界诗人文化大会颁发元首级国际特级大师证之殊荣后，义云高大师再次因其全面性和无人能及的优异成就获得美国人民最诚挚的崇高敬意。
        义云高大师能于是日得到这两项荣誉，是相当不简单的，不仅为华人之光荣，更是全世界人民的喜事，希望将来大众皆能向大师学习，不仅能自利，而全世界之人类更能在新世纪的来临，于各方面跨向伦理道德、才华横溢新的一步。

(台北报导)据来自美国消息，美国加州州政府与旧金山市政府为表扬在海峡两岸佛教界、艺术界享有声誉的义云高大师(见右图)，在绘画、书法、医术、佛教等方面的杰出成就，正式宣布三月八日订定为义云高大师日，此一殊荣在美国社会史无前例，堪称东方之荣、华人之光。

义云高大师年少时在大陆参研密乘佛法，证德证境甚高。在书法、绘画、医术等方面也有殊胜成就，一九九五年荣获四十八国代表组成的世界诗人文化大会，颁赠特级国际大师证书表彰他的全方位成就，以及对世界人类所作的伟大贡献；大陆官方亦为他修建列入国家行政编制的大师馆，向他致最崇高的敬意。

美国加州州长戴维斯及旧金山市长布朗，为表扬义云高大师在佛教、科学、伦理道德等方面的全方位卓越成就，以及他为世人所作的无私无我的贡献，特别将三月八日订为义云高大师庆祝日。

义云高大师在台弟子透露，义云高大师为具有真材实学的一代巨德，是近代颇负盛名的大学者、艺术家，无论是工笔、写意的山水、花卉、人物、鸟兽绘画，其造诣已达登峰造极境界；在佛学与佛法方面，境界殊胜高超，其精心研发的碧玉春、霸王春绿茶，也被评为茶中极品，值得一提的是，在医术方面，也相当高明精湛，可说是一位全方位的传奇人物。

昨日包括台湾，加州华人欲向他庆贺，却遍寻不着，目前已经确定他并不在加州。

义云高大师生于中国四川，自幼即受到中国传统文化的薰陶，随杰出学者学习佛教及中国文化如哲学、文学、绘画、书法、音乐、武术、中国医药等，饱读经史、三藏法典，深造五明。由于义大师在诸多领域的渊博学识与精深造诣，先后被爱尔兰共和国曼宁大学、美国及世界共八十三所大学联盟颁授佛学、艺术及宗教和哲学博士，并担任三所大学的教授和科学一级研究员。

1994年，世界诗人文化大会的5612位专家和学者共同推选颁发大师为全世界唯一的“特级国际大师”，该特级国际大师证书由国际奥委会主席萨马兰奇亲自签发。中国一级政府特在大师的家乡修建了中国历史上唯一的在世之人的纪念馆──“义云高大师馆”，展示大师的杰出成就。

1999年，义大师应邀访问美国，鉴于大师崇高无瑕的道德品质以及在佛学、艺术、哲学、科学等方面的惊人成就，美国加州州政府和旧金山市政府同一天宣布2000年3月8日为“义云高大师日”，加州政府、加州参议院、加州众议院、旧金山市政府及旧金山市议会十一名议员联名签署也分别颁发表扬状褒奖义大师对美国人民及世界人类所做的贡献。

2000年5月12日，全世界最大的佛教会议召开，来自28个国家、416个佛教机构和寺庙的2138位高僧大德经过7天的详细审评，义大师以99.6%的高得票率被授予“显密圆通正宗佛教大师”。

不仅如此，义大师在艺术方面同时达到了登峰造极的成就。2000年5月和11月，义大师之画作“威震”和“大力王尊者”分别在国际拍卖市场上拍得2,125,327.00和2,207,912.00美元的高价，创下了当今世界在世画家之最高纪录。

2001年，以美国国会多数党领袖盖博·哈特和前日本首相二阶堂进为名誉会长、当今白宫总统亚太裔顾问委员会主席祖炳民教授为会长的美国国际经济政策基金会特聘义大师为该会的最高首席顾问。

2002年，大师创作了轰动世界的最高艺术“韵雕”，是人类雕塑艺术的极度高峰的展现，为世界雕塑艺术史写下了精美而不可复制的历史篇章。从此后，在人类雕塑艺术界中出现了不可复制的艺术。而形似神似与大自然造化无异的神变奇石，却又超于大自然的精美和布局，可以说，义大师刀下的艺术奇石的雕刻终于降伏了大自然的造化！世界上从此出现了第一个人能胜过自然的奇迹，这也是义大师为人类文化艺术中雕塑艺术作出的最大贡献。2002年9月，白宫总统亚太裔顾问委员会主席亲临美国义云高大师国际文化基金会为大师颁发总统金质奖章以表彰大师惊世的杰出成就。

其实，义大师这么多惊世骇俗的成就，都来源于他深厚渊博的学识修养、崇高圣洁的伦理道德、无私菩提圣境德行而为人类所作出的巨大贡献！

义云高大师是近代海峡两岸颇负盛名的大学者、艺术家、科学家，中国书画的造诣已达登峰造极的境界，是将中国书画推向世界的奠基者，在提升世界文化层次及伦理道德、人生宇宙哲学方面及促进国际文化交流所做的贡献，以及至高的道德风范，已赢得了国际人士的尊重和崇敬。尤其是在佛教上的成就，更为特殊，被称为全球最顶尖的佛教大导师。

义云高大师学识渊博，道德崇高，伟绩风范遮不住，连续获得了美国各界颁赠的殊荣证书，包括世界佛教总会、美国密宗总会、世界佛教正法总会、加州众议院、世界八十多所大学联盟等单位，显示义云高大师是难得一见的巨德，为人类所敬仰的典范。

值得一提的是，一九九四年世界文化大会四十八个国家地区代表，评选义云高大师为世界唯一具有元首级荣衔的特级国际大师，由国际奥委会主席萨玛兰奇签发证书，在匈牙利公布，并致函中国大陆国务院等机构，大陆一级政府并在大师的家乡，修建了中国历史上首座为活着的人修建的巨型皇宫式“七馆一部”的义云高大师馆，肯定他为人类所做的杰出贡献。
